IPO

Input: Our approach is based around the illustrated IPO model below.  Using this model, we seek to identify the specific needs of the learners, and design a program which will be both relevant and challenging (input phase).

Process: During the process phase, we deliver interventions that are both theoretically sound and that require active participation from all participants.  As such, we utilise a range of accelerated learning techniques, adult learning strategies and client specific scenarios to ensure individual learning needs are met.  Participants are then tasked with completing workplace activities that facilitate the transfer of learning from the classroom to their individual job.

Output: Following the intervention, we visit individual participants on-the-job to confirm that:
a) learning has been transferred to the workplace.
b) the initial problems that indicated that development was necessary have been resolved.

This last phase (output) is particularly important in facilitating behavioural change among participants, and thereby ensuring a return on investment (ROI) from the development activity.
